Board OKs plan to refinance debt
NESHAMINY - The Neshaminy school board
Wednesday night approved a proposal that will save the district more
than $800,000. The deal will refinance almost $18.5 million of
10-year-old debt into a seven-year bond, according to business
administrator Joseph Paradise. Officials are trying to take advantage of
lower interest rates, he said. Another $8.8 million will be added to the
bond to help fund the high school renovation project.
